I’m currently working on a new series of mixtapes called “Love Actually.” (One of my goals for 2012 is that I post a new mix every month.) After watching the film Like Crazy (2011) and listening to its beautiful soundtrack, I felt inspired to make a few mixtapes that magically illustrate different relationships, whether it be one that ends with a happily ever after or one that leaves you in shambles. I, personally, have never been in a relationship. So, I’m basically letting the music do the talking, painting various scenarios in your head. Hopefully, there will be a mixtape within the series that you can relate to. If you are willing to share a relationship that you’ve previously experienced or are currently in, please message me and I will attempt to make a mix for you. <3

Right now, I have a playlist already completed on my spotify entitled “Joanna and Christopher,” if you’d like to give that one a listen. It’s basically about a people-watcher named Joanna and a lonely painter named Christopher. The song “Hologram” basically talks about how they first met. The lyrics for each song personifies one of the characters, or maybe even both. Each of the mixtapes will be up to interpretation. I can’t wait to share them all with you, tumblr. In the meantime, listen to my previous mixtapes (most of which are Disney-themed). :D
