My darling little Teddy reminds me of Berlioz from The Aristocats. Teddy loves music, especially when there’s a piano involved. Beach House is his all-time favorite, mainly because of Victoria Legrand’s dreamy organ playing. And, they even share the same white beard! (sort of)

For Halloween, I’m going to tie a small piece of red ribbon around his neck and have him play me a few scales and arpeggios. Uh-oh, I think I’ve already reached the “cat lady” stage of this relationship..

A portrait of Teddy. Today was his first rainy day spent with me. He’s been sitting next to the window all morning. I put Explosions In The Sky on the player to make his experience even better. It’s nice to know that he prefers my mellow choices in music. I adopted a pretty swell cat.

Teddy and I are currently listening to Joanna Newsom and daydreaming about nothing. This happens quite often at the Haus of Castro. It’s strange to think that I’ve already had this little guy for almost an entire month! I’m a proud papa.

Teddy tends to observe his surroundings. I’m glad we share this hobby.

And Teddy enjoys chillaxing with my teddy. Of course.
